Red Beans

Cooking Time: 6 Hrs
Ingredients:
1 cup red beans, soaked and drained
3 chicken stock
3 tbsp tomato paste
1 onion, sliced
1 tsp salt
1 chili pepper, sliced
1 tsp sriracha
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp turmeric
1 cup green peas
Directions:
1. Spread the red beans in the Crock Pot.
2. Add turmeric, salt, and chicken stock on its top.
3. Put the cooker’s lid on and set the cooking time to 4 hours on High
settings.
4. Toss the sliced onion with Sriracha, butter, chili pepper, and sriracha in a
separate bowl.
5. Spread this onion-pepper mixture over the cooked beans in the Crock Pot.
6. Cover the beans again and slow cook for another 1 hour on Low setting.
7. Serve after a gentle stir.
